From Kevin Russell on the gourds site:

Lobrero Theater in Santa Barbara was real nice, maybe too nice. I don't think
we pulled off the show very well. It was fun and all. But, the silent,
attentive crowd was a bit off setting. We rely more than I thought on a loud
talking crunken crowd of yahoo's. It wold be nice to try and do this show
again, the right way. Chuck Prophet is from California and he opened the show
with his Californian band. They played instruments to perform songs.
L. A was a great show. The sound was excellent. Again, all things at first
seemed to point to "bad night." But, the energy and feeling in the place was
sparking. We ripped it up real good there. Probably will find a bigger room
next time though. Tonight in Tempe was cool. Lots of tech problems, huge
hall, smallish crowd. But, I had a blast actin' a fool up there. Some very
old friends appeared out of no where. We did a short show and got out. Tucson
tomorrow, should be fun, looking forward to Alpine. Oh to be back home again
in my Texas bed.

Ok, re-uploaded the files, sound quality much better now. Good to go if anyone wants the mp3s.

1. Transfer data from ADAT to minidisc... success
2. Download software to transfer minidisc data to hard drive... complete
3. Transfer data from minidisc to hard drive... success
4. Convert to mp3... success

Took me about an hour to do all this... Sounds quality sucks because I don't have software that will normalize the track, so it's really loud... gotta figure out how to do that... I really like "modern times" and me and matt had a nasty jam over "charles thompson." The music for both those songs seems new and different...
