good luck boys, i am sure you will give em hell. be willing to help keep score sometime in the future. just build capital and i will keep training. talked to a drummer tonight (after being bullíed into going to slakthuset to a concert), he is also the guy who runs the studio in slakthuset. he said we could get together and try out some songs and then record what i liked. i think i am going to try and use a couple drummers, one or two from slakthuset and henke. lets start picking songs for the short list. start deciding whats most important and what order and form the project should take. they record to reel to reel there (analog) and then down to DAT. what does earl have? good luck again.

aha... Bb... never would have gotten that.
Dem's good chordles.
Off to Palm Springs this weekend (Matt will you join?)... I wish I had a stat guy like at a sporting event... "Wow, Chuck, Wasserman is 4/4 on doubling against the 4, he's on fire!" (note: 3rd person reference only made for comic effect)

i have been listening to a bunch of speaches in the senate and other places on http://www.c-span.org its pretty cool. all free. lots of good info. better than cnn anyway. if you check here you can see a speach by daschle and byrd (whom H made me aware of): http://www.c-span.org/Search/basic.asp?BasicQueryText=daschle&SortBy=date
anyway, there is good stuff there.
the chord progression for if my soul:
D, D, G, D,
(D)the world is (D)breaking up, (G) there are cracks around my (D)door
D, D, Em, A
(D) the space that they are (D)showing me i have (Em)never seen (A)before
E7, A, E7, A
(E7) never seen (A)before (X2)
Bb, C, A
i think that is right, then the chorus is
D, A, G, D,
if my soul won't ever sleep
D, D, A, A,
and i can't find the door
D, A, G, D,
if my soul won't ever sleep
D, A, D, D,
then i don't want it anymore
D, A, D, D,
then i don't want it anymore
Bb, C, A
thats the song

"If you hear the song I sing
You will understand (listen!)
You hold the key to love and fear
All in your trembling hand
Just one key unlocks them both
It's there at your command"

success!!!! success!!!! ok, we're on the lamb, crime does pay, crime does pay!!
i didnt give a cd to the first guy that went by and åsa gave me crap for being lazy and chicken, so the next guy that come by she demanded i get a cd out and give it to him. this young guy comes around the corner and i ask him if he's american (trying to see if he's one of earle's guys) asnd he says: "um, American?
anyway, he gets a cd and then he comes out with the band and plays keyboard!! yeah, nice, a guy in the band (he said: you want me to give this to steve? me: uh, yeah!!) but he's not just some guy in the band. its steve's son. justin! i gave him another cd after the show. seemed pretty cool. so now it seems we can be pretty sure that mr. earle has at least seen the cd.
other than that the concert was great. he played billy austin, which, if you havent heard it, is a great song. did a lot of stuff off the new album which i think is some really cool music but the lyrics, they are amazing. also did a great version of christmas in washington. had NO IRAQ WAR stickers on an amp and the bass drum. closed with "time has come" chambers brothers, "get together" by the youngbloods http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/Lyrics/1969/301969.html the lyrics in case anyone is unsure if they know that song or not, and finished with "what's so funny about peace love and understanding" which is a GREAT song. i love that tune. i think it was supposed to be sarcastic when it was written but it has got better and better and now sounds better than the songs it was making fun of in the begining (beatles and peace people in general) it sounds like the only genuine peace song! its like kafka, supposed to be a joke or a BAD mocking and ends up being a serious heartfelt expression of the world
wow!! thats enough
