Invading armies are only greeted as liberators under one circumstance: when they're kicking out another invader. History is clear on this. At the conclusion of World War II, cheering throngs greeted Allied tanks in France, Belgium and Holland. There were no such scenes in Germany or Japan. True, these original Axis of Evil nations ultimately went democratic, but not until after they'd been pounded into submission."

Bowling for Columbine awesome. I have been thinking about it-- 11,000 shootings in US per year, vs. 100 for your average European country or Canada. I think the answer here has to be gang violence. A couple months ago, a big drug battle in South Central was going on-- something like 20 shootings in 3 weeks. That's in LA alone... So why risk your life for a gang? Because without the gang you got nothing, no life at all-- with the gang at least you got a chance for the BigE or 2pac lifestyle... so what makes America have more shootings? Gangs who have nothing to lose.

I think the KUT Live Set gourds show ranks up there with best all time "live" performances. The sound gets screwed up halfway through, but the dudes just come out firing. Incredible show. Good luck matt.

where'd all the blogging go?? gotthe comp back so its back online for me. theyerased everything so i have to rebuild my collections. i was thinking about editing the shows we taped this summer. i'll let youknow how it goes. PLEASE SEE BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE!!!! its unreal.
